Hi! We’re the Brewers.
“Sent Ones” has been created to tell our story, the story of those we meet during our travels, and the stories of our King Jesus.
We first had it in mind for family and friends to keep up to date with our adventures overseas,
so if you’re new and happened to stumble across it, welcome!
We are now friends!
This blog started in 2016, where we jumped out of the comfort of western society into a world of beauty and ruggedness.
We traded our house for backpacks and safe routine for the unpredictable and spontaneous. Our first 6 months away from our small hometown in Tasmania, Australia was spent serving at a mission school in Africa for 3 months. We then continued our journey to Nepal where we served an NGO, rescuing girls from the red light areas & human trafficking. Needless to say, it wrecked us. It has undone us for living a “normal life” and we have fully given everything to going on the journey of being a part of something bigger than ourselves…
No matter what the cost.
Albert Einstein says it like this:
Only a life lived for others is a life worthwhile.
Meanwhile, this statement echoes in our hearts:
You may choose to look the other way but you can never say you didn’t know
– William Wilberforce
Straight after our time in Africa, we were offered positions serving with Iris Global, based in Pemba Mozambique.
Our Roles; Media Missionaries. Using media to give a voice to the voiceless, bring awareness to social injustices,
share stories of some of the most courageous people you would ever meet and encourage and empower others to be the change.

Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying,
“Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?”
And I said, “Here am I. Send me!”
