ISAIAH JAMES BREWER

We welcomed our beautiful boy, Isaiah James Brewer, into the world on the 24th of September.
It was an incredible home birth with him arriving early in the morning just as the sun was rising, weighing 10.5 pounds and measuring 54cm long.
We had two incredible midwives from GEMS Midwifery that were amazing. Words can’t explain the gratitude we have for them assisting our sweet son into the world.
He is very healthy, big, and a happy chubby baby! He showed no signs of distress and has been full of peace from the moment he was born. We thank God for the safe delivery and the privilege it has been to have him at home in Australia – not stuck in transit in Mozambique, South Africa, or even Germany!
As our last post stated, it was very difficult getting back to Tasmania due to the pandemic, but it was all so worth it to be surrounded by family and friends, as our family has grown from being three to four.

I had no idea how Grace would transition into being a big sister, we did our best to read her books, sing her songs about babies and teach her that soon she will have a little brother.
Needless to say, she absolutely loves her “baby” and has become such a caring, gentle and compassionate friend.

Soon i’ll be shooting weddings and family shoots again for work, but for now, we are cherishing these sweet new memories as it feels like we are living on cloud 9!
Everything seems easier with the second baby, I guess we know what to expect and have learned a lot over the last 2 years.
