FAMILIAR – [FAMILY]

We grew so close to all our amazing friends during the 3 months in Pemba. It’s easy to say they became like family to us, or as they say in Mozambique, Familiar.
We shared so many adventures and hilarious moments together!
From helping push a broken down car across a busy road, to playing duck-duck-goose with kids in the villages, eating custard at family nights and one of my favorites taking our Mozambican brothers out to their first meal at a restaurant! Needless to say, we all have become friends for life!
