MAKUA MUSIC VIDEO

School has finished and we are the last group to leave the Pemba base. It’s sad seeing all our new friends leave, but a “see you later” feels more appropriate than a “goodbye”.

Nevertheless, the Pemba base is never dull, with heaps of exciting things to do!  We got so blessed by Jesus, and were asked to help the Iris Global Team with some filming projects! Spending time with Esther, Jack, Crystalyn and Brock was such an honour and so much fun. We spent some time filming podcasts of; Heidi & Rolland Baker, David Hogan and Surprise Sithole. Then we went along with the Human’s and helped with a Makua Music video. The Mozambican artist was so talented. Jack and Brock had recorded his original song  and really captured the flavor and energy of the local culture.

One afternoon we all went swimming together, in the tropical picture perfect Indian ocean!
I couldn’t help but photography the joy of our time together, and a few family shots of the Humans.

There is something so special about Pemba. So much more happened this week but we can’t talk about all of it quite yet! But God is definitely surprising us more and more and definitely blowing us away!
Life with Jesus is sooo exciting and never, ever boring!

Soon we leave Pemba for Madagascar!
Here we will be spending a week visiting and serving the Iris base that homes over 100 children.
We are praying for our hearts to be open and to learn more about the “father heart” of God.
